We aren’t just a food truck! We are a full-service catering operation serving a variety of sandwiches, salads, soups, and other treats that will make your event a huge success!! We have experience in all sizes of events, big and small, and we aim to accommodate all customer requests.

Not only are we a local favorite in the heart of South Congress, but we are also known around the country making us a tourist destination. In addition to our location on SoCo and two locations on Rainey street, we have two mobile food trucks ready to serve delectable, mouthwatering grilled sandwiches at your event. Austin wouldn’t be the same without a unique food culture that sets it apart from other cities, and we can bring the best of creative cooking to your event making it unlike any you have experienced in the past.

FAQ’s

WHAT TYPES OF EVENTS CAN YOU PROVIDE SERVICE FOR?

We provide service for any event you can imagine. Holiday parties, football watch parties, baby showers, bridal showers, weddings, graduations, school carnivals, teacher in-service days, marathons, festivals, concerts, birthdays, etc.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I REQUEST TO BOOK AN EVENT?

We recommend booking a minimum of 48 hours of an advance request, but ideal booking should be a week in advance to ensure your date is available and that we can accommodate all requests. We always do our best to provide for last minute bookings.

HOW MUCH NOTICE MUST I HAVE FOR REQUESTING A LUNCH DELIVERY TO MY WORKPLACE?

We need/prefer 24 hours notice for orders larger than 15 sandwiches. Smaller orders can be placed through Favor and Uber Eats.

WHAT SHOULD I HAVE READY to REQUEST A QUOTE/BOOK?

You should have a specific date, a time frame for arrival/service, a location, a guest count, an idea of what you’re looking for regarding sandwiches and

sides, and if you would like a truck, drop off catering, or lunch delivery. A budget can also be very helpful.

IS THERE A TRUCK MINIMUM?

Yes, $600 for weekdays (Monday-Thursday, and Sunday) and $1000.00 for weekends (Friday-Saturday)

WHAT TYPE OF BILLING OR PAYMENTS AVAILABLE?

Option 1: Pre-paid invoice in which the client will be paying for all costs upfront via check or credit card.

Option 2: The truck will be selling directly to guests. If Burro sells directly to guests and does not meet the minimum required, we do ask that the client who requested the service meets the remaining balance.

IS THERE A CATERING DROP OFF MINIMUM OR LUNCH DELIVERY MINIMUM?

At this time, no. However, if the order is below $25.00, we recommend using one of the great delivery services such as Favor or Uber.

DOES BURRO TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF AUSTIN?

Yes, we will travel to provide a service. We do include a truck/travel fee, and that will be quoted based on distance and time requirements.

DO I HAVE TO PAY ALL AT ONCE?

No, you do not. To reserve your date on our calendar, we do require a deposit.

WHAT POWER IS NEEDED?

We operate our trucks on a generator that is 75 decibels, on request we can get quiet generators (55 dB). Sometimes our clients prefer to provide power, and if so, we can operate with three separate standard household plugs provided by the client that are on different 20 amp breakers.

WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL MY ORDER OR THE TRUCK?

We do offer refunds if you need to cancel your order or event.
